Mike is presently the Praise and Worship
leader and Music Director of Bluegrass
Christian Community Church
in Lexington,
Kentucky. For years he has been a
performer and musician in many
venues. From age 14 he began singing
with a professional choir and has
done many television and theatre performances. Over
the years he has performed with Clark Terry, Jonah
Jones, Doc Severinsen, Linda Bennett, Diane Carroll,
Donald O'Connor, Vic Tayback, Richard Harris,
Foster Brooks and many more. His travels
have taken him to Carnegie Hall twice, the naval
academy at Annapolis and crisscrossing the
United States several times with different
groups. With More than 30 years in the
music ministry he brings a wealth of insight
to the music he loves. He has written for all
kinds of genres and brings a fresh new
sound to pop as well as old standards. His
music spans from jazz, praise and worship,
inspirational, to formal worship music and
country.

Mike has a B. M. E. from Georgetown College
and a M. A. from Northern Kentucky University
in music and theater education. He has been a
music teacher and minister of music. Mike has
directed more than 35 professional and college
level theater performances. He is also a GMA
professional member and has attended Write about
Jesus hosted by Sue C. Smith. He has also worked
with JD Miller who wrote with Bill Gaither and
performed with the Gaither Vocal Band as
instrumentalist.
